NOTE: There are several links to informational sites listed below. If there is specific information that is frequently sought
after I can create another section or a page for them so the information can be found more quickly. For example the closest MVD offices , Veterinary Clinics and Animal Shelters are
more frequently sought after than, lets say Hiking Sedona. So, like them, I can add more to the list on this page so my website visitors don't have to spend hours hunting on
other websites themselves. And if you can't find the info you need on the other sites let me know that too and I will see if I can find it for you but please be patient. It could
take me a day or so as I won't get your request until evening after returning from my day job and my time after work is limited, but I do want to help.

La Paz County Transit is supported with a grant from (WACOG) Western Arizona Council of Governments , (AAA) Area Agency on Aging and
(DES).
People over 60 and Medical Appointments have priority, with disabled being our second priority. However, the general public is encouraged to ride.
(Almost a third of our riders are under 60 and not disabled.)
** NOTE: If you are on AHCCCS and have a medical Appointment State Wide is to be used.
*Schedule subject to change as trips depend on availability of drivers. If you schedule a ride to get
to an appointment please have a "plan B" in case of cancellation.

Rider Assistance Program

(WRAP) WACOG Rider Assistance Program is a mileage reimbursement program for senior passengers 60 years and older who rely on their friends,
neighbors and relatives for transportation. Mileage is paid to the WRAP participant at .37 cents per mile for the purpose of reimbursing the driver when the participant travels to
approved destinations in the drivers car. |
